Child Safety Policy (CSAE)

1. Our commitment

Buzz has a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). The safety and protection of minors is a non-negotiable priority across every feature, function, and community interaction on our platform. We are committed to maintaining an environment where children are never endangered, exploited, or exposed to inappropriate content.

2. Prohibited content and conduct

The following are strictly prohibited on Buzz:

• Any content that sexually depicts, exploits, or abuses minors (CSAM)
• Grooming behavior — attempting to build trust with a minor for the purpose of exploitation
• Solicitation of sexual content or contact from minors
• Sharing, distributing, or linking to CSAE material in any form
• Using the platform to facilitate in-person meetings with minors for exploitative purposes
• Any communication that sexualizes individuals under the age of 18

3. Detection and enforcement

We employ a combination of automated detection technologies and human review to identify CSAE content and behavior. Accounts found to be in violation of this policy are immediately and permanently banned, and verified CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and local law enforcement.

4. Reporting

Users can report suspected CSAE content or behavior directly in the app using the one-tap report feature on any profile, chat, or call. Reports of this nature are prioritized above all other moderation queues. You may also report externally to NCMEC (report.cybertip.org) or your local law enforcement.

5. Age requirement

Buzz is intended for users aged 18 and older. We require date of birth at signup and use a combination of signals to detect underage accounts.

6. Minors on the platform

Buzz is strictly an 18+ platform. We do not permit minors to hold accounts. Suspected underage accounts are suspended pending age verification and removed when verification fails.

7. Cooperation with law enforcement

Buzz cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations relating to child safety, including preserving account data and responding to valid legal requests on an expedited basis.

8. Team training

All trust and safety team members receive mandatory training on identifying and handling CSAE content, informed by guidance from NCMEC and the Internet Watch Foundation.
